The Department of Co-operation, Marketing and Textiles, Government of Maharashtra, is organizing a handloom textile competition to encourage the best handloom textile samples woven by handloom weavers and to honor them. Accordingly, the Divisional Handloom Textile Competition 2025-26 has been organized under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Vijayalakshmi Bidri on March 24 at 3.30 pm at the Office of the Regional Deputy Commissioner, Textiles, New Administrative Building No. 2, 8th Floor, Civil Lines, Nagpur 440001 Nagpur.
However, handloom weavers from all districts of Amravati and Nagpur divisions are requested to submit the samples prepared by the handloom weavers to the office of the Regional Deputy Commissioner, Textiles, Nagpur by 5 pm on March 20th to register their participation in this competition in maximum numbers. The application should be submitted to the Regional Deputy Commissioner, Textiles, Nagpur, Administrative Building No. 2, 8th Floor, “B” Wing, Civil Lines, Nagpur.
