Reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and NTPC’s ESG goals, NTPC Mouda has been actively implementing the “Mission Pariskar” campaign to make the township completely litter-free. As part of the initiative, the township was divided into 24 zones, each managed by committees comprising employees and their family members responsible for maintaining cleanliness. These committees regularly conduct cleanliness drives and promote responsible waste disposal practices across the township.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026, NTPC Mouda organized a special campaign titled “She Leads Mission Pariskar.” The program began with the assembly of women employees and spouses at Mouda Haat, followed by a Walkathon to Gulmohar Garden, during which participants carried out a cleanliness drive and spread awareness about maintaining a clean environment.
The campaign saw enthusiastic participation from women employees and township residents, highlighting their leadership and commitment towards a cleaner and greener community.
On this occasion, Shri Joseph Bastian, Head of Project, NTPC Mouda, officially declared the township Litter-Free and appreciated the collective efforts of employees, families, and residents in achieving this milestone. He also encouraged everyone to continue maintaining the cleanliness and environmental standards of the township in the future as well.
