A one-day Khelo India Asmita fencing competition will be organised in the city on March 29 at the Ramjeevan Chaudhary Sports Complex, Ram Cooler Chowk.
The event is being conducted by the Nagpur District Fencing Association in accordance with the guidelines of the Fencing Federation of India and under the aegis of the Maharashtra Fencing Association.
Organisers have urged schools and junior colleges across the district to encourage maximum participation, particularly among girls. The competition will feature three age categories for female participants: Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19.
