The grand celebrations of Ram Navami in Nagpur were complemented by the dedicated efforts of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s sanitation teams, ensuring clean and hygienic surroundings across the city. The civic body deployed 251 sanitation workers who carried out extensive overnight cleaning operations along various Shobha Yatra routes.
During the drive, approximately 3.5 tonnes of waste were collected from different parts of the city, highlighting the scale of both participation and civic response.

On the occasion of Ram Navami, grand Shobha Yatras were taken out from several locations, including the historic Poddareshwar Ram Temple in Central Nagpur and the Ram Temple at Ramnagar Chowk in West Nagpur. Lakhs of devotees participated in the festivities. To ensure cleanliness along the procession routes, Mayor Neeta Thakre had issued specific instructions, following which the sanitation teams carried out prompt and effective operations.
Throughout the city, arrangements such as distribution of Mahaprasad and floral showers added to the festive spirit. The Nagpur Municipal Corporation maintained a special focus on cleanliness across all routes, ensuring that the celebrations remained both vibrant and well-managed.
