26 services from Mumbai to Santragachi & 20 services from Mumbai to Madgaon
Central Railway will run additional 46 Special Trains to clear the extra rush of passengers travelling during the summer season. Of these 26 services will be run between Mumbai LTT to Santragachi and 20 services will be run between Mumbai CSMT to Madgaon.
Details are as under:
LTT-Santragachi-LTT Weekly Specials- (26 services)
Train no 01001 Weekly Special will depart LTT Mumbai at 20.15 hrs every Tuesday from 21.04.2026 to 14.07.2026 and will arrive Santragachi at 05.00 hrs on third day. (13 trips)
Train no 01002 Weekly Special will depart Santragachi at 15.50 hrs every Thursday from 23.04.2026 to 16.07.2026 and will arrive LTT Mumbai at 23.45 hrs next day. (13 trips)
Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Akola, Badnera, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Chakaradharpur, Tatanagar and Kharagpur.
Composition: 2 AC-2 Tier, 10 AC-3 Tier Economy, 4 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class and 2 Generator vans.
CSMT-Madgaon-CSMT Weekly Specials-(20 services)
Train no.01019 Weekly special will leave CSMT every Sunday at 00.55 hrs from 05.04.2026 to 07.06.2026 and will arrive Madgaon at 15.15 hrs same day.(10 services)
Train no.01020 Weekly special will leave Madgaon every Sunday at 16.00 hrs from 05.04.2026 to 07.06.2026 and will arrive CSMT at 03.50 hrs next day. .(10 services)
Halts: Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi, Thivim & Karmali
Composition: 1 AC-2 Tier, 6 AC-3 Tier, 9 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class and 2 General Second Class cum Guard’s brake van.
Reservation:
Bookings for Special train no 01001 will open on 31.03.2026 at all computerised reservation centres and on website www.irctc.co.in.
Bookings for Special train no 01019 will open on 01.04.2026 at all computerised reservation centres and on website www.irctc.co.in.
Bookings for unreserved coaches with normal charges can be done through UTS system.
