Municipal Commissioner Dr Vipin Itankar has directed officials to complete the walking track work from Ganesh Mandir to Natik Chowk up to Empress Mall. The instruction was issued during a joint inspection with MLA Pravin Datke on March 28.
The issue of pending work at Gandhisagar lake was raised during the NMC’s general body meeting by corporators Bandu Raut and Manoj Sable, following which the Mayor asked officials to review the current status on site.
Additional Municipal Commissioner Vaishnavi B, corporators Bandu Raut and Manoj Sable, executive engineers Dr Shweta Banerjee and Rajesh Dufare, along with other civic officials, were present during the inspection.
