Established as a Center of Faith, Devotion, and Belief, the Miraculous Shri Hanuman Temple at Hanuman Lok Jamsawali Dham Continues to Witness Historic Moments Nestled in the green valleys of the Satpuda ranges, the miraculous Jamsawali Dham in Sausar tehsil of Pandhurna district has not only gained fame across India but has also established its reputation internationally. As a result, it is transforming into an ocean of devotion through ongoing religious events that have been held continuously since Ram Navami. Every day, millions of devotees visit to seek blessings from Lord Hanuman and express their wishes.
The temple trust organizes special events every Tuesday and Saturday, as well as on Hanuman Jayanti, Guru Purnima, and New Year, drawing devotees to bow before Lord Hanuman. This flow of faith continues to grow steadily. Over the past year, the temple’s stature has increasingly taken on a historic significance.

The Miraculous History of Lord Hanuman
The history of Jamsawali Dham is considered ancient and extraordinary. Here, Lord Hanuman, the greatest devotee of Shri Ram, is depicted resting under a Peepal tree—a unique feature among Indian temples. Legend holds that thousands of years ago, this enormous idol was hidden among the grass and was discovered by a farmer while plowing his field. Since then, the site has become a center of devotion and today serves as the foundation of faith for millions of devotees.
Started in 1996 with limited resources, the temple has now developed into a sprawling religious complex known as Hanuman Lok. The project is being realized with an investment of Rs314 crore by the Madhya Pradesh government. On the occasion of Ram Navami, the first phase was inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while the second phase has also been announced. Once completed, the Dham will stand as a grand, world-class religious center, similar in scale to Mahakal Lok in Ujjain.

A Unique Confluence of Faith and Modernity
Gopal Sharma, president of the temple trust, explained that Hanuman Lok is not just an expansion of the temple but a unique integration of modern technology with ancient traditions. Developed across nearly 30 acres, this corridor is establishing a strong identity among the state’s major religious tourism destinations. Alongside spiritual devotion, the site also showcases community participation and cultural expression.
Sharma highlighted developments over the past year, including the purchase of 11 acres of land at a cost exceeding Rs5 crore, the establishment of the Bajrang Gaushala on 25 acres of government-allotted land, construction of a grand assembly hall, renovation of Prasadam and devotees’ accommodations, installation of lifts, administrative buildings, RO water supply systems, organized relocation of puja material shops, paving blocks, street lights, parks, and solar plants. The temple trust now owns more than 68 acres of land, enabling its transformation into a vast religious complex.

Recognition on the Global Stage
Jamsawali Dham is rapidly moving toward not just national, but international recognition. Efforts are underway to establish its presence globally through social media and modern communication channels. The next phase of Hanuman Lok includes ambitious projects such as the construction of a grand sanctum, the Chiranjeevi Path, conservation and beautification of nearby water channels, a large STP plant, solar power expansion, and a mental wellness center. Today, Jamsawali Dham is not merely a temple but a living symbol of faith, belief, and miracles. Upon completion, Hanuman Lok is expected to gain a distinct place among India’s premier religious destinations.
