A legendary actor who has made a mark in theatre, television, and cinema, Pankaj Kapur will interact with Nagpur audiences on Saturday, April 11, at 4:00 PM at Vanamati. An NSD alumnus, Pankaj Kapur is known for acclaimed Hindi films such as Maqbool, Ek Doctor Ki Maut, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, Ek Ruka Hua Faisla, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, Roja, and Jalwa. His portrayal of Abbaji in Maqbool, based on Shakespeare’s Macbeth, remains especially popular among the youth. Recently, his on-screen pairing with Dimple Kapadia in the light-hearted film Jab Khuli Kitaab has been widely appreciated.

He also appeared in Gandhi directed by Richard Attenborough, and lent his voice to Mahatma Gandhi in the Hindi version.
