Haryana City Gas will start PNG supply in Nagpur Butibori MIDC area from April 10. The decision has been taken following shortage of LPG due to war in West Asia.
Chairman of Haryana City Gas Deepak Sawant said that initially 100 houses in MIDC area will be connected for supply of PNG through pipeline. This is the first facility being created in Nagpur district. About 30 km of pipeline has been installed for supply of PNG.
In the next eight years PNG network will be laid to cover the entire Nagpur.PNG is 20 to 30 per cent cheaper compared to LPG and the supply through pipeline will be 24X7. The system of cylinder booking and delivery will be avoided.
After Butibori the network will be extended to other parts of the district.
