The SANJIVANI Foundation has launched a medical check-up and free medicine distribution centre at Gurusangat Darbar. Operating under the name ‘Sanjivani Swasthya Kendra’, the facility allows patients to walk in for consultation at a nominal fee of Rs20, after which prescribed medicines are provided free of cost.
If any medicines are not immediately available, the foundation ensures they are arranged within a day or two, according to a press release. The centre functions daily from 6 pm to 8 pm.
This is the third such initiative by the foundation, with two existing centres already operational in Jaripatka and Ahuja Nagar. Together, these centres cater to around 125 patients ежедневно.
During 2024–25, over 27,500 patients benefitted from the initiative, with medicines worth Rs55 lakh distributed free of cost. In 2025–26 (till February), around 31,500 patients have visited the centres, with medicines valued at Rs65 lakh provided.
