Digital payments platform PhonePe on Monday announced a limited-period offer for its newly launched co-branded credit card in partnership with the State Bank of India.Under the offer, the PhonePe SBI Card comes with zero joining fee for the first year, allowing users to enjoy its features without any upfront cost.
The company said customers can access premium benefits at no charge during the first year.The card is available on both RuPay and Visa networks and is designed for users who frequently make online transactions.One of its key features is a universal rewards system that offers 5% cashback on all online purchases, irrespective of the brand or merchant. This makes it a strong option for users looking to maximise savings on everyday digital spending.
Additionally, users can earn 10% rewards on select categories within the PhonePe platform, including mobile recharges, utility bill payments and other regular transactions.
Similar benefits are also available on insurance premium payments made through the app.
