The second edition of the Thunderbird Under-13 leather ball cricket tournament will begin across various grounds in the city from April 14.A total of 24 clubs will participate in the tournament, which will be played in a league-cum-knockout format.
The participating teams include KJCA Chandrapur, Nagpur Cricket Academy, Mujumdar Cricket Academy, Pravin Hinganikar Cricket Academy, Royal Cricket Association ‘A’, Masters XI Koradi, NISA-NCA, MHCC Mouda, Sahas ‘A’ and ‘B’, City Gymkhana, Fortune Cricket Club, KCC-WCL Saoner, PFCA, Mystics CA Saoner, RL Cricket Club, Ruby Club, SB City ‘A’ and ‘B’, Mahi Cricket Club, Shree Sporting, National Cricket Academy, NDCA, and SS Cricket Academy Gondia.Teams will be divided into six groups. The winner and runner-up teams will receive attractive trophies.
To recognise the efforts of coaches, the coach of the winning team will be awarded Rs 33,000, while the runner-up team’s coach will receive Rs 22,000.
