KORADI Police have registered a case against a man identified as Raviraj Sable Patil, a resident of Dharashiv, following a complaint of alleged stalking, defamation, and outraging the modesty of Jyoti Bawankule, wife of Maharashtra Revenue Minister and Nagpur District Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule.
Police have booked the accused under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), including Sections 78(1)(ii), 78(2), 79, 356(2), and 67.
According to police officials, the case was registered after allegations that the accused posted objectionable and defamatory content about the complainant on social media. Further investigation is underway.
