A musical tribute by Swarvedh to Padma Vibhushan Late Asha Bhosle
A unique musical tribute will be presented to the legendary Swar Samradhni Padma Vibhushan Late Asha Bhosle by Nagpur’s leading cultural organization Swarvedh Nagpur through a special program titled “Firuni navi janmen mi…” on Wednesday, April 14, 2026. The event will be held at the Scientific Auditorium, Aath Rasta Square, Laxminagar, Nagpur at 6:30 PM.
The concept of the program has been developed by Adv. Bhanudas Kulkarni of Swarvedh, while the narration will be handled by Mukund Deshpande. Performers including Dr. Manjiri Vaidya, Niranjan Bobde, Dr. Sheela Kulkarni, Shreya Kharabe-Tanksale, Lakshyati Kajalkar-Bhusari, Sakshi Sarode, Yash Kher, and Parijat Kalikar will present evergreen Hindi and Marathi songs originally sung by Late Asha Bhosle. They will be accompanied by accomplished singers from Swarvedh.
The program is open to all and free of charge. Swarvedh representatives Adv. Anand Parchure and Adv. Bhanudas Kulkarni have appealed to music lovers to attend in large numbers.
