An accident has been reported at the 660 MW unit of the Koradi Thermal Power Station, where hot ash allegedly fell on workers, leaving at least four to six employees injured. The incident occurred in Unit No. 10 of the plant, triggering panic at the site.
According to preliminary information, one engineer is said to be in critical condition, while two others have sustained serious injuries. Four workers are reported to have suffered relatively minor burns. However, officials have reportedly declined to comment on the incident so far.
Sources confirmed that at least four injured workers have been admitted to Max Hospital for treatment. Doctors have indicated that one of the victims remains in serious condition. Further details are awaited as authorities continue to assess the situation.
