The Nagpur Amateur Sports Association (NASA), under the aegis of the Nagpur District Basketball Association (NDBA), will organise the Sub-Junior (U-13) District Selection Basketball Championship at its twin courts in Surendra Nagar starting Saturday.A total of 20 boys’ teams and 15 girls’ teams will compete in the league-cum-knockout tournament. The championship will be inaugurated by NMC Standing Committee Chairperson Shivani Dani. Corporator Varsha Chaudhary, NDBA Working President Abhay Kaplay, Secretary Bhavesh Kuchanwar, and NASA Secretary Pranay Ghate will be present on the dais.Players selected from this tournament will represent the district at the 51st Maharashtra State Sub-Junior Basketball Championship, scheduled to be held in Satara from May 3 to 8.
