Residents across several parts of the city have raised concerns over recurring power outages, with multiple localities experiencing disruptions over the past 24 hours. In Narsala area, electricity supply remained disrupted for over an hour late Saturday night, causing inconvenience to residents.
Citizens have complained that power cuts have become a daily occurrence, especially during peak afternoon hours. Areas including Narendra Nagar, Manish Nagar, Shree Nagar, Somalwada, Shatabdi chowk, and Manewada have been particularly affected, with residents alleging frequent and unscheduled outages.
On Sunday morning, power supply in Pratap Nagar was reported to be shut since around 7 am, further adding to public frustration. Residents have urged the electricity department to take immediate steps to ensure uninterrupted power supply, especially amid rising temperatures.
