Air connectivity between Nagpur and Doha is expected to resume soon, bringing relief and excitement among passengers. The flight service, operated by Qatar Airways, had been suspended due to the ongoing conflict in Iran and heightened tensions in Gulf countries.
According to reports, the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority has initiated steps to gradually restore international flight operations while adhering to global safety standards. This has increased the likelihood of the Nagpur–Doha–Nagpur service restarting within the next few days. Currently, the suspension of these flights has been extended until May 15.The Doha–Nagpur route, which operated five days a week, was halted from February 28, causing inconvenience to passengers traveling from central India to Gulf countries, Europe, and the United States.
Officials indicated that, considering the improving situation, flight services may soon return to normal. Notably, Air Arabia has already resumed its Sharjah–Nagpur–Sharjah flights from April 3, operating twice a week (Friday and Sunday).
Mihan India Limited (MIL) airport officials stated that while flights remain suspended till May 15, no official confirmation has yet been received from Qatar Airways regarding the exact date of resumption. However, passengers remain hopeful that services will restart soon.
