MSEDCL has announced that power supply on various feeder lines across the city will be suspended for a few hours on Wednesday, April 22, to facilitate pre-monsoon maintenance and repair work. This shutdown will affect several areas under the Congress Nagar, Civil Lines, Mahal, Gandhibagh, and Butibori divisions.
In the Congress Nagar Division, power will be shut down from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM in Sai Nagar 1 & 2, Giribalaji Nagar, Savarbandhe Layout, Amrapali Nagar, Pawar Nagar, Salaigodani, Navegaon, Nimba, and Dhamna. Areas including Venkatesh City, Gauri Midas, ITI Colony, Niwas Society, Ramesh Estate, Ocean Super City, Pyramid 4, Mauli 7, Glorious Plaza, Aarambh Layout, Soham, and Ozen will face an outage from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Deendayal Nagar, Swavalambi Nagar, Saraswati Layout, and Jeevanchhaya Society will have no power from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, while the Ameya feeder will be shut from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Additionally, RPTS Road, Laxmi Nagar, Shivaji Park, and Dharampeth Extension will see power cuts from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM, and Tilak Nagar, Gokulpeth, Valmiki Nagar, and Canal Road from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Furthermore, power supply will remain suspended from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Prasad Nagar, Anand Nagar, Takli Sim, Yashodhan Nagar, Renuka Mata Mandir, Hingna T-Point, Pratap Nagar Police Station, Trimurti Nagar, Bhamti, Ujjwal Nagar, Pavanbhumi, Somalwada Chowk, Vandana Apartment, and surrounding vicinities. In the Civil Lines Division, repair work will take place from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Aakar Nagar, Swami Colony, Jagdish Nagar, Prerna Nagar, Ganga Nagar, Veer Chakra Colony, M.B. Estate, and Raksha Colony.
In the Mahal Division, electricity will be unavailable from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Mahal Chowk, Pustak Bazar, Kalyaneshwar Temple, Zenda Chowk, Sangh Building premises, and Kelibagh Road. In the Gandhibagh Division, Shiv Nagar, Ghatate Nagar, and Punapur will face an outage from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, while Shyam Nagar and Navin Nagar on Bhandara Road will be affected from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
In the Butibori Division, power will be shut from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM in Bhivsen Khori, Utkarsh, Woodland Society, and Krushak Mahila areas. The industrial sector on the Hingna-2 feeder, including D-Section and Sandip Metal, will see a shutdown from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Additionally, due to maintenance at the Apparel Park substation, the power supply for industrial consumers in A, C, D, T, and IC Zones, as well as the Food Park area, will be disconnected from 9:00 AM onwards.
