Maharashtra State Khadi and Village Industries Board is inviting nominations for Madhumitra and Madhusamtri Awards for 2026. This award has been started by the Board for the last three years. The Board has started this initiative to give momentum to the beekeeping business and encourage beekeepers. Successful beekeepers who have been working in beekeeping for many years are honored with first, second, and third awards in this award scheme. One of these awards is reserved for female beekeepers. The award amount is first (11 thousand), second (7 thousand), third (5 thousand).
On the occasion of World Bee Day on May 20th The awards will be presented at a public ceremony in Pune.
