Thunderbird U-13 Cricket Tournament
Nishant Gautam delivered a brilliant unbeaten knock to guide Nagpur Cricket Academy (NCA) to a massive 209-run victory over MCA Gondia in the ongoing Thunderbird Under-13 Cricket Tournament at the Royal Cricket Association ground in Mecosabagh.
Batting first, NCA posted an imposing 305 for three in their allotted 25 overs. The innings was anchored by Gautam’s outstanding 178* off just 81 deliveries. The opener smashed 17 fours and 14 sixes, maintaining a blistering strike rate of 219.75.
Shreyansh Porandwar provided strong support, scoring a fluent 62 off 37 balls, including 10 boundaries and a six. For MCA Gondia, Shivansh picked up two wickets.
In reply, MCA Gondia were bowled out for 90 in 18.2 overs. Darsh Rahangdale (39) and Mohil Barapatre (24) were the only notable contributors with the bat.
For NCA, Jayant Kale and Shree Shahane claimed two wickets each to seal a dominant win.
