Nagpur continued to reel under intense heat on April 27, recording a maximum temperature of 45.0°C.
Across Vidarbha, Amravati emerged as the hottest city at 46.6°C, followed by Wardha at 46.5°C and Akola at 46.3°C. The intense heat and dry conditions made it difficult for people to step out in the afternoon. This marks the highest temperature recorded in the city so far this summer. Residents are increasingly bearing the brunt of the scorching heat and are choosing to stay indoors or in cooler places.
With temperatures staying above normal and dry conditions prevailing, Nagpur is likely to continue facing intense heat in the coming days.
