The South Central Zone Cultural Centre (SCZCC), under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, will organise the one-act poetic drama ‘Kutumba Rangalaya Kavyat’ on April 30, 2026, on the eve of Maharashtra Day. The performance by renowned artist Prof Vishwanath Bapat will begin at 6.30 pm at the SCZCC premises opposite MLA Hostel, Civil Lines.
Prof Bapat has received several honours, including the title of ‘Kavyadoot’ by poet Shankar Vaidya and the Kamalakar Vaishampayan Ekpatri Memorial Award presented by the All India Marathi Drama Council.
Entry to the programme is free. SCZCC Director Astha Karlekar has appealed to theatre lovers to attend the event in large numbers and enjoy the performance.
