Assistant Police Inspector Shivaji Nanware of the Nagpur City Police has brought laurels to Maharashtra by successfully scaling Mount Dhaulagiri in Nepal, regarded as the world’s seventh-highest and one of the most challenging peaks for mountaineers.
Nanware’s remarkable feat has been hailed as an inspiring example of courage, determination and perseverance. Significantly, he is said to be the first officer in the history of the Maharashtra Police to achieve such a milestone in mountaineering, making the accomplishment a matter of pride not only for the police force but for the entire state.
Congratulating the officer on his historic achievement, Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule said the feat has elevated the pride of Maharashtra and serves as an inspiration for youth and the police fraternity alike. He extended heartfelt wishes to Nanware for continued success in future expeditions.
