Today’s meeting took a detailed look at whether the fire fighting system is capable in crowded places and places where people gather on a large scale during summer days. In this regard, it was emphasized on the need for the directors of hospitals, restaurants, bars, coaching classes, Function Hall and schools in the city to obtain a no-trespass certificate from the fire department.
The Assistant Director of Town Planning Department said that buildings less than 15 meters high in the city do not require a no-movement certificate from the Fire Department. Rupali Thakur clarified that it is mandatory for directors of schools, coaching classes, hospitals, welfare offices, bars and restaurants to have a no-nonsense certificate from the fire department. As there are children and a large number of people living in these establishments, there is a possibility of causing a lot of damage and sometimes loss of life if any danger is created. These establishments should be re-inspected by the fire department. There should be forced to install the entire system as per the instructions of the fire department. He also clarified that the establishment will be forced to take no action certificates from the fire department if this hazard is detected .
Make a policy
Deputy Chairman Shri. Lakhan Yerwar expressed the need. For this, the fire department , urban planning department and health department should come together and prepare a comprehensive policy regarding making the fire fighting system more efficient .
The medical health officer informed that there are about 650 hospitals in the city with the health department of the municipality. Deepak Selokar said. Accreditation of new hospitals is done to verify compliance of fire fighting systems. He also clarified that a no-observance certificate is required from the fire department.
