Central Railway, Nagpur Division, informs the public about a temporary road closure due to ongoing construction work of Minor Bridge (Underpass) No. 759/1 in Sevagram Railway Yard on the Nagpur–Sevagram section. The bridge is located between OHE 760/K12-10.
To facilitate the safe and efficient execution of this essential infrastructure project, the concerned road will remain closed for all vehicular and pedestrian movement from 06:00 hrs on 5th May 2026 to 24:00 hrs on 30th May 2026.
This development work is part of Central Railway’s continued efforts to enhance safety standards and improve long-term traffic flow in the region. The underpass construction is expected to significantly reduce congestion and ensure safer passage for both rail and road users once completed.
During the closure period, commuters and local residents are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and use alternative routes. Adequate safety measures and traffic management arrangements are being implemented to minimize inconvenience to the public.
