The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) on Thursday declared the Class 10 (SSC) examination results for February-March 2026, with the Nagpur division recording a pass percentage of 89.07 percent and securing the 7th position among the state’s nine divisional boards.
According to the official data released by the board, a total of 1,49,270 students from the Nagpur division had registered for the examination, out of which 1,48,762 students appeared. Among them, 1,32,545 students successfully passed the examination.
The Konkan division topped the state with a pass percentage of 98.62 percent, followed by Kolhapur at 95.49 percent and Mumbai at 94.87 percent. Nagpur remained ahead of only the Latur division, which recorded 88.47 percent.
Statewide, the overall SSC result stood at 92.04 percent. A total of 15,58,020 students had registered across Maharashtra, while 15,46,579 students appeared for the examination. Out of them, 14,20,566 students passed.
Education officials stated that schools in Nagpur city and surrounding districts witnessed mixed results this year, with several students securing distinction marks despite stiff competition and revised evaluation patterns.
