Centre Point School, Amravati Road Bypass’ Yug Singhvi has won accolades for his impressive performance at the APICEM AITA Championship Series Under-16 & Under-18 Tournament, held from 2ⁿᵈ to 8ᵗʰ May, 2026 at Apicem Tennis Academy, Raipur.
The tournament was organised by Apicem Tennis Academy, Raipur, under the auspices of the Chhattisgarh State Tennis Association and the All India Tennis Association (AITA), and was sponsored by Athlete’s Choice.
Competing in the Under-16 Boys’ category, Yug Singhvi of Class 10-A emerged as the Doubles Winner and also secured a place in the Singles Semi-finals, displaying exceptional skill and determination throughout the tournament.
In the doubles final, Yug and his partner defeated Hitharth Surana and Meeresh Girdhani with a score of 6–3, 6–6 (5–7), 10–4. In the singles semi-final match, Yug put up a spirited performance against Meeresh Girdhani.
The Principal, Mrs. Perveen Cassad, Vice-Principal, Mrs. Purnima Charles, School Coordinator, Mrs. Shupriya Apte and mentor, Mr. Ganesh Bagde congratulated Yug on his outstanding achievement and wished him continued success in his sporting journey.
