Panic spread across the Nandanvan slum area after a group of juveniles with alleged criminal backgrounds vandalised several two-wheelers by pelting stones late at night.
Local resident and auto driver Rahul Giripunje said he was at home on the night of May 8 when he heard loud noises around 2 am. When he stepped outside, he allegedly saw Pratham Dhanade along with 10 to 12 juveniles throwing stones in the area.
According to residents, the group was armed with weapons and damaged multiple parked two-wheelers before fleeing the spot after allegedly threatening locals.Following Rahul’s complaint, Nandanvan Police registered a case of rioting and launched further investigation.
