NTPC Mouda marked the commencement of Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 by organizing a Walkathon on 16th May 2026, reaffirming its commitment towards cleanliness, community participation and the objectives of the Swachh Bharat Mission. The Swachhata Pakhwada campaign is being observed from 16th May 2026 to 31st May 2026 with a series of awareness and cleanliness initiatives planned across various locations.
The campaign commenced with the Swachhata Pledge administered by Shri Joseph Bastian, Head of Project, NTPC Mouda and Shri Parimal Kumar Mishra, GM (O&M), who encouraged participants to contribute towards cleanliness, hygienic practices and the objectives of the Swachh Bharat Mission. Employees from various departments participated in the pledge and Walkathon, reaffirming their collective commitment towards a cleaner and healthier environment.
The programme witnessed the presence of senior officials including GM (O&M), GM (Maintenance), GM (COE), HOHR, Heads of Departments, representatives of Unions, Associations and Welfare Clubs, along with employees and their family members.
As part of Swachhata Pakhwada 2026, NTPC Mouda has planned a wide range of activities including cleanliness awareness drives in nearby villages, office and township premises, cleanliness campaigns at Bhavan’s School, street plays in villages, sessions on cleanliness and personal hygiene for housekeeping staff, various competitions for employees and their family members, and signature campaigns.
The initiative reflects NTPC Mouda’s continued dedication towards supporting and strengthening the vision and goals of the Swachh Bharat Mission through active public participation and community engagement.
