Vidarbha continued to witness intense heatwave conditions as temperatures stayed extremely high across the region. Brahmapuri recorded the highest temperature at 47.6°C, making it the hottest place in Vidarbha.
Nagpur recorded 46.5°C, while Bhandara and Gadchiroli registered 46.4°C each. Gondia touched 46.1°C, and Chandrapur and Wardha recorded 46.0°C. Akola witnessed 45.4°C, followed by Amravati at 45.0°C. Yavatmal recorded 44.4°C, Washim 43.5°C, and Buldana 41.7°C.
The severe heatwave has disrupted normal life across Vidarbha, with people avoiding outdoor activities during peak hours. Weather officials have advised citizens to stay hydrated and take precautions against extreme heat.
