In connection with the 3rd and 4th line work in the Nagpur–Sewagram section of Nagpur Division, Central Railway will undertake a special traffic and power block for provision of Electronic Interlocking (EI) system and yard remodelling work at Sewagram Station. The block has been approved by the competent authority.
During this period, the following train services will remain affected:
Trains Cancelled on 06.06.2026
Train No. 61109 Wardha–Nagpur MEMU – Cancelled
Train No. 61110 Nagpur–Wardha MEMU – Cancelled
Train No. 12219 Amravati–Ajni Express – Cancelled
Train No. 12120 Ajni–Amravati Express – Cancelled
In addition, the stoppage of Train No. 12810 Howrah–Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Express and Train No. 61110 Nagpur–Wardha MEMU at Sewagram Station will remain cancelled from 30.05.2026 to 06.06.2026.
Further, due to the closure of Platform No. 2 at Nagpur Station, the coaching repercussions have been extended from 52 days to 61 days, i.e. for an additional 09 days from 30.05.2026 to 07.06.2026.
Short Termination
Train No. 11203 Nagpur–Madgaon Express, scheduled to depart Nagpur at 15.05 hrs, will remain short terminated at Ajni from 30.05.2026 to 06.06.2026.
Short Originating
Train No. 11204 Madgaon–Nagpur Express, scheduled to arrive Nagpur at 21.30 hrs, will remain short originated from Ajni from 31.05.2026 to 07.06.2026.
Nagpur Division of Central Railway appeals to passengers to check the status of their trains before commencing their journey. Inconvenience caused to passengers is deeply regretted.
