The Nagpur District Chess Association (NDCA) will be organising and conducting a two day rapid chess tournament in memory of Late Umesh Panbude. The tournament will be held on 30th May and 31st May, 2026 at NDCA Hall, Sport Complex, Dhanwate National College, Congress Nagpur, Nagpur.
The prizes are sponsored by AARAMBH INVESTMENTS.
Total cash prize of Rs. 15,000/- will be Distributed among top 10 players along with a Rolling Trophy for the Winner. Prizes will also be awarded to Best Veteran and Best Female. Trophies will also be awarded to two top girls & boys in each age category of Under 7/9/11/13/15.
Total 100 Entries of the participants will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. Entry fee will be Rs. 300/- per participant.
The tournament will be inaugurated at 6 pm on 30th May, 2026 and will immediately be followed by the 1st Round of the tournament. The number of rounds will depend on the number of participants.
