A shocking incident of vehicle arson has come to light in Fagoji Layout, Godhani, under the jurisdiction of Mankapur Police Station. An unidentified person allegedly set a parked Baleno car belonging to local resident Krishna Rajurkar on fire in the early hours of the morning, reducing the vehicle to ashes and creating panic in the area.
According to information, the incident occurred at around 3:00 a.m. while residents were asleep. The accused reportedly targeted the vehicle and fled the scene after setting it ablaze.
CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, showing a suspected woman approaching the car, pouring what appears to be a flammable substance on it, and then setting it on fire. The footage is now a key part of the investigation.
Upon receiving information, a team from Mankapur Police Station rushed to the spot and initiated an inquiry. Local social activist Sagar Mahajan visited the scene, while Lukesh Bhadang played an active role in informing the police and assisting in the initial response.
Police have taken serious note of the incident and have launched a fear among local residents.
