In a major administrative reshuffle within the Nagpur Police Commissionerate, Police Commissioner Dr. Ravinder Kumar Singal on Thursday ordered the transfer of 31 police inspectors and announced several key postings at the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) level.
Under the new assignments, Annapurna Singh has been appointed DCP Zone 2, while Deepak Agrawal has been given charge as DCP Crime. Nityanand Jha has been posted as DCP Zone 5, and Rahul Makhnikar has been assigned the responsibility of DCP Headquarters.
As part of the transfers, the Senior Inspector of Sonegaon Police Station has been moved to Wadi Police Station. Wadi Police Station in-charge Rajesh Tatkare has been transferred to the Economic Offences Wing of the Crime Branch.Senior Inspector Mukund Kawade of Beltarodi Police Station has been posted to Lakadganj Police Station, while Prashant Jumde of Old Kamptee Police Station has been transferred to Kotwali Police Station. Lalita Todase, who was serving in the Anti-Human Trafficking Squad, has been appointed in-charge of Gittikhadan Police Station.
Among other postings, Rahul Tasare has been assigned to Sonegaon Police Station, Yusuf Chand Sheikh to Yashodhara Nagar Police Station, and Dnyaneshwar Bhedodkar to Sadar Police Station. Suhas Raut has been appointed Senior Inspector of Sitabuldi Police Station, while Ramesh Khune has taken charge as Senior Inspector of Sakkardara Police Station.The reshuffle also includes significant changes in the Crime Branch and Traffic Department.
Prashant Thaware has been posted to Crime Branch Unit-1, Atul Mohankar to Crime Branch Unit-3, and Baburao Raut to Crime Branch Unit-4.The large-scale administrative exercise is aimed at strengthening policing operations and improving coordination across various units of the Nagpur Police Commissionerate.
