Students of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) continue to face difficulties related to the ongoing Summer 2026 examinations, with many reporting challenges in accessing support for examination-related issues.
Several students, particularly those from rural areas and districts under the university’s jurisdiction, have alleged that the helpline numbers provided by the university often remain busy or unanswered. According to students, this has made it difficult to seek clarification, register complaints, and resolve examination-related queries, adding to the stress caused by recent examination-related issues.
In response to these concerns, RTMNU Vice-Chancellor Dr Manali Kshirsagar said the university is developing a dedicated online grievance redressal portal for students. The portal is expected to be launched within the next two months and will enable students to submit complaints and monitor the status of their grievances more efficiently.
Addressing complaints regarding the helpline services, Dr Kshirsagar said the university has already circulated additional contact numbers through its network of affiliated colleges.
“I hope the colleges are sharing these numbers with students as well,” she said.
The university has also assured students that steps are being taken to prevent errors in the remaining examinations. According to Dr Kshirsagar, question papers for the remaining Summer 2026 examinations will undergo an additional level of scrutiny by the respective Board of Studies chairpersons before being finalised.
University officials said that out of more than 1,000 examinations scheduled for the Summer 2026 session, nearly 300 are still underway.
The move is expected to streamline grievance handling and improve communication between students and the university as examinations continue across the region.
