Ashish Rawale, a motorcycle enthusiast from Nagpur and administrator of Bikers Yard Nagpur, has completed a non-stop ride from Leh to Nagpur in 42 hours, marking a significant achievement in long-distance motorcycling.
Ashish began his journey from Nagpur on May 25 and reached Delhi the same day. He continued his ride to Sarchu on May 26 before arriving in Leh on May 27. During the expedition, he travelled through some of the world’s highest motorable roads, including Khardung La and Umling La.
Adding to the achievement, Ashish became the first biker from the Vidarbha region to reach the challenging Mig La Pass, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. The journey involved navigating difficult terrain, high-altitude conditions, and unpredictable weather.
The highlight of the expedition was the return journey, during which Ashish completed a non-stop ride from Leh to Nagpur in just 42 hours, showcasing remarkable endurance and riding skill.
Speaking about the expedition, Ashish said the ride was not only about adventure but also about promoting road safety. He urged riders to wear proper safety gear, follow traffic rules, avoid reckless riding, and prioritise safety at all times.
He also stressed the importance of physical fitness and mental resilience for long-distance riders, noting that such journeys require discipline, regular exercise, proper nutrition, and strong mental preparation.
The achievement has drawn attention from the biking community and stands as a notable milestone for motorcycle enthusiasts from the region.
