In a welcome relief for auto-rickshaw drivers and commuters, the price of Auto LPG in Nagpur has been reduced by ₹5 per litre. Following the latest revision, the retail price of Auto LPG has come down from ₹99 per litre to ₹94 per litre.
The reduction is expected to lower operating costs for thousands of auto-rickshaw drivers who depend on LPG as a fuel source. Industry representatives believe the price cut will provide some financial relief amid rising maintenance and living expenses.
Auto LPG is widely used by commercial three-wheelers across Nagpur due to its comparatively lower emissions and cost-effectiveness. The revised rate has come into effect immediately at Auto LPG dispensing stations across the city.
Auto-rickshaw unions have welcomed the decision, stating that any reduction in fuel prices directly benefits drivers and helps sustain their daily earnings.
Consumers and transport operators are hopeful that further reductions in fuel prices will follow in the coming months.
The new Auto LPG price in Nagpur now stands at ₹94 per litre, making it one of the more economical fuel options for public transport vehicles in the city.
