Nagpur Residents, Bring Out Your Household E-Waste!
A ‘Mega Cleanliness Campaign’ is being conducted in Nagpur from World Environment Day to International Yoga Day (June 21). The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has launched this 15-day special drive to bring citizens together and make the city cleaner and greener.
As an important part of this campaign, and under the directions of the Mayor and the Municipal Commissioner, a total of 75 E-Waste Collection Centres will be set up across the city on June 14, 2026. These include one centre at the NMC headquarters, 10 at NMC zonal offices, 29 at NMC schools, 25 at libraries, and 10 at RRR (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) Centres.
On the special campaign day, June 14, 2026 (Sunday), from 10 am to 5 pm, citizens can deposit their e-waste at any of these 75 collection centres located across different parts of the city.
To help keep neighbourhoods clean, beautiful and safe for public health, citizens have been urged not to throw away or store unused electronic items and equipment at home or in offices. Instead, they are requested to deposit such e-waste at the nearest NMC E-Waste Collection Centre on June 14 and contribute to the Mega Cleanliness Campaign, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation said.
