In a daring theft reported under the jurisdiction of the Lakadganj Police Station, unidentified miscreants allegedly stole Rs 4.5 lakh from a grocery trader’s car near Queta Colony on Friday night.
According to preliminary information, the trader had parked his vehicle in the area when two unknown accused reportedly smashed the car’s window and fled with a bag containing cash amounting to Rs 4.5 lakh. The incident came to light shortly thereafter, prompting a police response.
Police have launched an investigation and are scanning CCTV footage from nearby locations to identify the suspects. A case is being registered, and further investigation is underway.
