District Collector Kumar Ashirvad has urged all eligible voters to carefully complete and submit their Enumeration Forms as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls being undertaken by the Election Commission of India.
The revision exercise began on June 20, and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will distribute two copies of the Enumeration Form to every voter household between June 30 and July 29.
Officials said the forms will carry the voter’s details as recorded in the existing electoral roll, along with a photograph, QR code, and the contact details of the concerned BLO, including their name and mobile number.
Voters whose names were included in both the 2002 and 2024 electoral rolls are required to provide information related to their 2002 enrolment. Those who were not registered in 2002, including individuals born after 1987, must furnish details of a parent or grandparent whose name appeared in the 2002 electoral roll.
To facilitate the process, the Election Commission has enabled voters to search for their names in the last SIR electoral roll and submit Enumeration Forms online through the voter services portal. The administration has appealed to citizens to complete the verification process within the stipulated period to ensure their names remain on the electoral rolls.
