The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the results of the CA Intermediate examination, with Kartik Gokhale emerging as the top performer from Nagpur by securing 487 marks.
Arun Chate secured the second position with 445 marks. Other notable performers included Manav Vanjani, who scored 427 marks, Ishant Tejwani with 423 marks, and Saqib Quadri with 411 marks.
According to the results, 539 students appeared for Group I of the examination, of which 48 successfully cleared the group. In Group II, 277 students appeared and 53 passed. A total of 361 students appeared for both groups, with 43 candidates clearing the examination.
The CA Intermediate examination is the second stage of the Chartered Accountancy course in India and is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. It serves as a bridge between foundational accounting knowledge and advanced professional training, assessing students across six subjects divided into two groups before they proceed for practical articleship training.
The syllabus is structured into two groups comprising three papers each. Group I includes Advanced Accounting, Corporate and Other Laws, and Taxation covering Income Tax and GST. Group II consists of Cost and Management Accounting, Auditing and Ethics, and Financial Management and Strategic Management.
