The vision for 2026–27 is built on the strong foundation laid during the previous year, with a clear focus on accelerating industrial growth and strengthening the ecosystem of Vidarbha. Our objective is not only to represent industries but also to become a proactive catalyst for development.
Our strategy is based on three core pillars. First, Policy and Investment Facilitation, where VIA will actively engage with government authorities, legislators, and policymakers to create a business-friendly environment and attract investments into the region. Second, Knowledge and Ecosystem Development, through seminars, industrial visits, academic collaborations, AI awareness programmes, and technology-sharing initiatives that enhance the competitiveness of our industries. Third, Member Engagement and Value Addition, ensuring timely updates on trade, taxation, regulations, and industry-related issues while providing effective grievance redressal.
To translate this vision into action, VIA will establish direct communication with legislators, organize regular learning forums, strengthen policy advocacy through research-based recommendations, and restructure committees into sector-specific groups. Digital communication through modern platforms and continuous member interaction will remain a priority.
The annual calendar includes networking sports events, government-industry interaction meetings, industrial visits, AI adoption programmes, skill development sessions, industry forums, and a flagship Mega Event on Power Management, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Renewable Energy. Key initiatives will also focus on energy updates, taxation, website modernization, office upgradation, and expanding the participation of large industries within VIA.
To ensure accountability and measurable outcomes, VIA will conduct annual member surveys, review KPI dashboards, gather economic and industrial data, and monitor the resolution of members’ issues. Additionally, Executive Committee members will take ownership of specialized responsibilities such as industrial visits, study tours, membership development, sports, media, advertising, and social media management.
Together, this roadmap reflects our commitment to making VIA a stronger, more dynamic, and future-ready organization dedicated to the sustainable industrial development of Vidarbha.
