In a shocking incident, five members of a family have mysteriously gone missing from the Dhantoli police station area of Nagpur.
The missing persons include a 12-year-old boy, a 21-year-old woman, two middle-aged women and a man. Police have launched an investigation and suspect the family may have disappeared to avoid repaying debts, though all angles are being examined.According to police, the missing family lived at Plot No. 40, “Durga Sadan”, Balraj Marg in Dhantoli.
The complainant, 71-year-old Shyam Sundar Komatrai Parswani, stated that the family of his late brother Suresh Komatrai Parswani also resided in the same house. On the evening of June 24, at around 6 pm, all five family members left home without informing anyone and never returned.
The missing persons have been identified as Harsh Suresh Parswani (57), Jitendra Suresh Parswani (42), Diksha Jitendra Parswani (40), Khushi Jitendra Parswani (21), and Krishna Jitendra Parswani (12). After relatives failed to trace them despite searching at possible locations, a missing persons complaint was lodged at Dhantoli Police Station on June 29.
Dhantoli Police have registered a case and begun an investigation. Police Inspector Sainath Ramod said that the preliminary inquiry suggests the family may have disappeared to avoid repayment of outstanding loans.
Investigators have also found that the mobile phone location of the missing family members was last traced to Pune. Efforts are underway to locate them, and police said the investigation is continuing.
