Heavy rainfall in Mumbai and resulting air traffic congestion have disrupted flight operations between Mumbai and Nagpur, leading to delays and cancellations on Monday.
IndiGo flight 6E-6058 from Mumbai to Nagpur, scheduled to arrive at 9:30 AM, was delayed due to ATC congestion caused by adverse weather in Mumbai. The flight’s revised estimated arrival time at Nagpur is 11:05 AM. Its return service, 6E-6145 from Nagpur to Mumbai, is also expected to be delayed.
Another IndiGo service, 6E-2060 from Mumbai to Nagpur, scheduled to land at 11:40 AM, has also been delayed because of air traffic congestion in Mumbai. The onward flight 6E-5344 from Nagpur to Mumbai is likely to be affected as well.
Meanwhile, IndiGo flight 6E-6802 on the Mumbai–Nagpur sector and its return service 6E-5175 from Nagpur to Mumbai have been cancelled due to operational reasons.
Airport authorities have advised passengers to check the latest flight status with their respective airlines before leaving for the airport, as continued heavy rain in Mumbai may lead to further disruptions throughout the day.
