Heavy rains triggered severe waterlogging outside Paloti School on
Gorewada Ring Road on Monday, leaving several vehicles belonging to parents partially submerged as they arrived to pick up their children.
Water from the flooded Ring Road entered the school premises, creating a chaotic and alarming situation.
As the water level continued to rise, anxious parents rushed to safely evacuate their children from the school. The flooding caused panic, disrupted traffic, and highlighted the worsening impact of inadequate drainage in the area.
Residents have urged the administration to take immediate measures to clear the water and ensure the safety of students and commuters.
