“I can because I Think I Can”, said the resource person Dr. Pragya Mathur, a counseling Psychologist, of Bhavan’s B.P. Vidya Mandir, Ashti, at a workshop organised recently in the School.
The resource person talked about the factors that affect academic performance. She briefed the students to identify what kind of learner they are. She asked the students to identify the area where they are weak, ask questions more often, make a schedule, organise their day, improve writing skills and avoid procrastination.
She asked the students to motivate themselves and revise as much as they can. She told the students about the 5 P’s for optimising performance, which are, plan, prioritize, prepare, practice and perform.
She asked the students not to fear anything as “No mistakes means no learn up”, she laid importance on communication in English as it is the world’s dominant language. The session was very informative, motivational and interactive. Students participated whole heartedly. Principal of the school Smt. Vandana Bisen, appreciated the workshop and said that the students will face the exams more confidently.
