Under the auspices of South Central Zone Cultural Center, Nagpur and Sangeet Sadhana Vidyalaya, Nagpur a musical programme was organized in honor of Guru Pournima, dedicated to all Guru at August 10 , 2019 at 6.30 pm, Narayani Hall, M.K. Sancheti College, Hindustan Colony, Wardha Road, Nagpur.
Director of South Central Zone Cultural Center, Nagpur, Dr. Deepak Khirvadkar, Bhushan Pofale and Yogini Ade inaugurated the programme by lighting the auspicious lamp.
The program started with Kathak dance in which Yogini Ade, along with her student presented Guruvandana. After which she gave beautiful presentations of tude, tukde, primalu, uthan, ladi and Tritala. At last, she finished her performance by singing hymn of Shri Ramchandra Kripalu Bhajman. She was accompanied by Anand Fadnavis on Harmonium, Padant , Anushka Khardenvis and Tabla, Shyam Jatkar.
An enchanting sitar recital was presented by Dipali Khirvadkar along many melodious tunes were performed by Priya Kalyan and Raga Kirvarni. They were accompanied by Moreshwar Dahsastra on the tabla. Vandana Deodhar gave her voice to Raag Rageshri and Raag Bhairavi.
The creation and concept of this beautiful program of singing, playing and dancing dedicated to all the Guru was done by Bhushan Pofade. A large number of classical music lovers were present at the ocassion. All the performances were highly praised by the audience.
