The issue of triple talaq has been in the headlines quite after the union government has decided to amend the law. And it had in its true sense has created ripples in Indian society. Recently in Nagpur, on a property dispute, the person named Ashar Madini had sent a triple talaq notice via speed post to his wife Qudsiya Madini in the month of July.
He also alleged that his wife is not following Islam tenets. The instant talaq declaration was also signed with two of the witnesses for which the wife has lodged a complaint in Mankapur police station, under the supervision of Police Inspector Vazeer Sheikh, on Tuesday.
The wife Qudsiya Madini has registered the case under the Muslim Women act 2019 against her husband and the other two witnesses. The names of the accused are Ashar Madini (Husband), Savita Thorat (Witness) and Manishka Bhoyar (Witness). As per information, Ashar was forced by his mother to stay away from Qudsiya as she has given birth to a second daughter and not a son. Ashar started living with his mother after a year since the birth of his second daughter in 2018.
The wife has also alleged adultery against Ashar, also in her complaint stated that he used to take drugs; these were the reasons over which Qudsiya always fought with him and tried to stop Ashar. And then he left the house in Zingabai Takli where the couple used to stay.
Qudsiya got married to Ashar on October 20, 2013. They have two daughters Mariyam (4) and Fatima (2).
