The issue of triple talaq has been in the headlines quite after the union government has decided to amend the law. And it had in its true sense has created ripples in Indian society. Recently in Nagpur, on a property dispute, the person named Ashar Madini had sent a triple talaq notice via speed post to his wife Qudsiya Madini in the month of July.

The wife Qudsiya Madini has registered the case under the Muslim Women act 2019 against her husband and the other two witnesses.  The names of the accused are Ashar Madini (Husband), Savita Thorat (Witness) and Manishka Bhoyar (Witness). As per information, Ashar was forced by his mother to stay away from Qudsiya as she has given birth to a second daughter and not a son.
