This State Highway turns to be a death knell for commuters

Nowadays it has become difficult for the commuters to travel across the Salekasa-Dongargadh State Highway connecting Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh states. As per information, the highway has become a death trap for the passengers. The potholes on this highway have become death knell for commuters and the accidents and mishaps are growing day by day and have become a usual phenomenon in this Highway. Despite all these, the authorities are not giving any importance to this serious problem.

As per information, the State Highway which has starting from Gondia district headquarters passes through Amgaon-Salekasa-Darekas and enters Chhattisgarh. The commuters have to travel through this route by risking their lives and potholes make every ride of the passengers as bumpy ride and often collide with each other. Even the pedestrians feel it difficult to use the route.

As Gondia plays a very important role in tourism point view hundreds of tourists use this route. And a large number of devotees they also go to visit Ma Bamaleshwari at Dongangarh make this highway a prominent one. So it is very important to consider the matter and take necessary steps to improve the condition of this State Highway to save many lives.
